The Challenge
SkinnyDipped needed social media content that matched the energy of their brand. Bold. Colorful. Dynamic. Clean and professional, but with enough personality to stop someone mid-scroll.
They had a clear vision and a shot list ready to go. What they needed was a photographer who could take that direction, understand their visual language, and deliver images that felt like SkinnyDipped.
For Sean, this project came early in his career. His portfolio was still growing, but the quality of his work spoke for itself and earned him a spot on the project.
What We Did
Working from a creative brief provided by Emma Griffith, Social Media and Influencer Marketing Manager, Sean produced 7 final images across SkinnyDipped's most popular flavors, each styled to feel bold, playful, and brand-aligned.
The shots included:
Peanut Butter and Jelly Peanuts featured with fresh sliced strawberries
Lemon Bliss Almonds styled with sliced lemons
Cocoa Almonds with chocolate dripping from above, set against a bright pink background to match the brand's retro and edgy aesthetic
Salted Caramel Cashews with caramel being squeezed alongside the bag for an over-the-top, indulgent feel
Lemon Bliss featuring a model pouring the product directly into their mouth
Milk Chocolate Peanuts with multiple bags arranged across levels against a multicolored background
Cocoa Almond and Peanut Butter Almond featured together
All 7 shots were delivered and used across SkinnyDipped's social media channels.
How we worked together
SkinnyDipped came to the project with a clear brief. Emma shared the shot list, the creative direction, and the brand aesthetic she was working toward. Sean used that as the foundation, reviewed the brand's existing visual style, and built the shoot around matching their look while bringing each concept to life.
Product was shipped directly to Sean's studio. Emma requested 2-3 unedited versions of each shot before final selection so she could review and choose her preferred options before editing began. Sean delivered on that process, keeping the client in control of the final selections throughout.
One of the more technically interesting shots was the Lemon Bliss image featuring floating lemon slices. To achieve the look, Sean threaded skewers through each lemon slice to hold them in position at different heights, then composited the frames together in post to remove the skewers and create a clean, natural-looking float. The result matched the energetic, editorial feel the brief called for.
“We had a great experience working with Sean on content creation. He took our overall vision and put a creative spin on it and we were very excited about the results.”
What this unlocked for SkinnyDipped
SkinnyDipped walked away with 7 social-ready images that matched their brand's bold, colorful aesthetic and gave their feed a fresh, consistent look.
Each shot was built around a specific flavor story, making the content feel purposeful rather than generic. The floating lemons, the chocolate drip, the caramel squeeze, each image had a concept behind it that reflected the brand's personality.
For Sean, this project was also an early proof point. Landing a project with a nationally distributed brand and delivering content that the team was excited about confirmed that strong work and a clear process can open doors regardless of where you are in your career.
