Value: A reliable content system that keeps Truff’s visuals consistent across channels and ready for campaign moments.
The Challenge
Truff needed a reliable creative partner who could keep up with the pace of a fast-moving brand.
That meant a consistent stream of premium visuals across multiple channels, ecommerce listings, website, social media, email campaigns, and print, all while staying true to a distinct, elevated brand aesthetic.
They also needed someone who could move fast when launch moments arrived. Product releases and brand collaborations don't wait, and scrambling for content at the last minute wasn't an option.
What We Did
Sean came on board in 2023 through a referral from a fellow photographer, and the relationship grew into a monthly content partnership that has spanned product launches, major brand collaborations, and always-on social content.
Over the course of the partnership, Sean has created:
Ecommerce hero images for product listings
Clean product photography on white and black backgrounds for website and marketing use
Social-first content to support ongoing brand presence
GIFs and stop motion animations ranging from simple to more complex layered motion work
Lifestyle photography without models, focused on product and food styling
Launch content for new product releases
Starbucks x Truff Collaboration
One of the standout projects was the Starbucks x Truff collaboration, where Truff released a branded hot sauce pouch in two flavors, original and jalapeño lime, paired with Starbucks breakfast items. A Starbucks representative joined the shoot in Sean's studio to ensure the visuals met their brand guidelines. Over 50 images were produced and used across Truff's social media, website, email campaigns, and print materials.
Buffalo Sauce Launch
For the Buffalo sauce launch, the goal was to show how the new sauce paired with a variety of dishes. Sean brought in a food stylist, built out the dish list based on Truff's moodboard, and produced a full set of launch content used across social media and online ads.
Aioli Sauce Launch
When Truff needed content for their new aioli sauces with less than two weeks until launch, Sean coordinated a food stylist, scheduled a two-day shoot, and delivered the final edited images on time, ready for launch day.
How we worked together
Every project starts with a conversation about what Truff needs, how many pieces of content, where it will live, and what the goal is.
From there, the process is collaborative. Sometimes Truff comes in with a clear direction and Sean helps bring that vision to life. Other times they come in with a goal but need help generating ideas. In those cases, Sean works with the team to develop a concept list they can review, refine, and approve together.
That back-and-forth is intentional. The goal is for the client to feel like an active part of the project, not someone who receives a batch of content and hopes for the best.
Once direction is set, Sean builds out the shot list, sources or coordinates product, and manages production. Final content is delivered through a downloadable album, typically within two to three weeks. For rush projects, that timeline moves up to meet the deadline.
What this unlocked for Truff
Since 2023, Truff had a dependable monthly content system they could count on. New products had launch visuals ready. Collaborations had content that met both brand standards. Their social feed stayed active and consistent without the stress of sourcing a new creative partner for every project.
The relationship also deepened over time. As Sean learned Truff's style and the team grew more comfortable with the process, projects moved faster and required less back-and-forth to get to a strong result.
That trust carried through even as the team changed. When Sean's original contact moved on, the partnership continued with new leadership, which speaks to the consistency of the work and the ease of the working relationship.
“[Sean] is great at communicating and is extremely timely. He captured our Hero images for our TRUFF x Starbucks launch, which drove an increase in organic impressions on social media.”
