That's Amoré Italian Restaurant Photography Case Study
Client: That's Amoré! Italian Restaurant
Partnership: Two-shoot project
Goal: Capture the restaurant's personality, space, and team in the first shoot, then complete the visual story with dedicated menu item photography in the second, ahead of a website redesign.
What we made: Lifestyle and interior photography with portraits of the owners and head chef in the first shoot, followed by commercial food photography of every menu item in the second.
Where it was used: The restaurant's redesigned website, menu, and social media.
Highlights: Real-time shot adjustments during both shoots to build in variety, portraits that put a face to the business, interior shots showing off the event space, and a full menu photography pass.
Value: A complete library of lifestyle, portrait, interior, and menu photography built across two shoots to support the website relaunch and ongoing marketing.
The Challenge
That's Amoré! Italian Restaurant needed photography that did more than show off dishes. Ahead of a website redesign, they wanted images that captured the range of their menu, introduced customers to the people behind the food, and showed off the restaurant's event catering capabilities and spacious venue.
The Approach
MisaHungry Media worked with That's Amoré! across two shoots. The first focused on lifestyle and interior images along with portraits of the owners and head chef, giving customers a way to connect with the people and space behind the food. The second shoot centered on the menu itself, with food styling and photography for each menu item. Sean checked in with the owners throughout both shoots, adjusting shots in real time to build in variety while staying true to the restaurant's vision.
The Results
That's Amoré! is featuring the final images across their redesigned website, updated menu, and social channels. The team was pleased with both the process and the outcome.
“Sean checks in with you often during the shoot to make sure we haven’t veered away. Those check-ins allowed us to purposefully adjust some shots to create a little variety. We’re very pleased with the results.”
